Yes, you’re seeing double.

And you’ll be seeing a lot more of it when VH1’s reality competition series Twinning premieres July 22 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. “Twinning is a crazy concept and we are all the way in,” Susan Levison, head of original programming and production for VH1, said in a statement.

Angie Greenup is host of the contest, which has 12 sets of twins competing for a grand prize of $222,222.22. (No typos there.) Basically, each set of twins is going to be tested physically and mentally. But what’s worse? They will have to take on each challenge while living in separate houses. For some, that will be the most difficult thing. EVER.

The Nick twins, 23, from Ohio had never been apart for long periods of time. The longest time they’ve spent away from each other before the competition had been “less than 12 hours,” says Spencer. “I just missed him every day, every second, every minute. For me, I was worried about his safety and stuff like that. That was the most difficult thing: Being separated from Skyler.”

But the brothers say the experience was well worth it. Among the lessons learned: “Spencer and I actually want to marry twins,” Skyler says. “We dated quote-unquote singletons for years and they just don’t understand the bond that Spencer and I have. We’re not ready to settle down anytime soon but when we are, we think it would be best with twins. And I think we learned that on the show living with other twins.”
