Multifaceted entertainer Karli Henriquez is becoming a fixated figure in the entertainment industry. While working on projects across various media outlets including radio, television, and film, Karli is on the rise to making her definitive mark in the field.

Karli’s drive and passion has been evident from a young age, as she began interning for Clear Channel Communications’ Top 40 radio station, KIIS-FM, Los Angeles, upon her high school graduation. Her talent and dedication helped her make easy and quick transitions, within this major market station, from intern, to street team member, to correspondent for one of KIIS-FM’s most highly rated programs, the “JoJo On The Radio” show, which is nationally syndicated in over 50 markets. “Karli from the Block,” as she is better known on this prestigious show, not only does weeknight bits, but also, she goes on location to interview today’s most highly regarded celebrities, directly from the red carpet.

Karli is moving at a rapid pace, progressing her career in the television industry, as well. A short time after she was hired to work for the “JoJo On The Radio” show, MTV Tr3s hired the Mexican/Salvadoran beauty to be a VJ for the channel.While holding this position, she continued sharpening her interviewing skills while reporting from major events, such as the ALMA Awards and Grammys. Her charisma and charm helped her land another role on the network, “Karlifornia,” which was a developed reality show, based around her life. It featured Karli balancing her career as a young entertainer/reporter conducting exclusive interviews, with her social life. This show allowed viewers to connect and identify with Karli, as she proved to be a family-oriented, down to earth individual, just like many of her Latina fans. Thus far, the show has brought Karli two of her greatest career highlights: seeing a “Karlifornia” promo air on a Times Square marquee and seeing her show being downloaded on to cell phones by her fans.

Karli is working hard to master her craft. She hopes that her work allows her viewers to smile and escape from all of society’s pressures. Her goals are to inspire and support others, just as her family continues to do for her. Karli looks up to her abuelita, who has given her the strength to pursue her dreams.

In the entertainment world, Jennifer Lopez inspires Karli, as is clearly evident via her radio name. Karli is self-motivated and knows the steps she needs to take to make her dreams come true. Her passions lie within hosting and reporting and her dream is to work with one of her favorite entertainers, George Lopez.

While Karli is gaining practical experience working in the entertainment field, she is also gaining a sense of the industry from a business perspective. Upon graduating from High School, she earned her Associates Degree in Business from Moorpark College. Currently, Karli is pursuing a degree in Public Relations.
