Heather Gardner is a host, producer, personality, writer, photographer, and reporter. You name it, and she's doing it!
Heather can currently be seen as the host of Hollyscoop. She has written more than 6,000 entertainment news segments featured on Hollyscoop's website, YouTube and on AOL. Her work is also frequently featured on the Huffington post, USA Today, Yahoo and several others.
In addition to her on-camera work, Heather serves as executive producer for Hollyscoop’s many shows. She conceptualizes the show ideas, researches topics, writes copy and delivers the information - all in a days work! Heather works closely with Hollyscoop’s many hosts, often coaching them and helping produce their content. Heather’s hard work has led to huge success on Hollyscoop’s YouTube channel including tens of millions of monthly hits and the highest growth in subscribers in the channel’s history.
Today, Heather is known as an entertainment news expert in Hollywood, but her career began quite literally in a corn field! Her first job in the broadcast world was a country music radio host at Fort Wayne's Number One Country Station, WQHK 105.1 in Fort Wayne, Indiana - yes, the radio station was next to a working corn farm. She produced and hosted her own daily program for nearly 3 years. In addition to her radio show, Heather took her country music and pop culture knowledge to NBC33-WISE where she hosted a segment centered around NBC's The Voice. Never one to sit still, she also hosted several live events, fashion shows, food segments and concerts all over Indiana.
With a love for both pop culture and country music, Heather founded Country Crossover, a web series and blog dedicated all things country music in pop culture. Through this platform, Heather has interviewed dozens of country stars with her series, including Luke Bryan, Jana Kramer, Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes and many more. The series was picked up as a national radio program that ran for a year in 30 media markets in the US and Canada.
Heather has a Broadcast Journalism degree from the esteemed College of Journalism from the University of Florida and has continued her studies over the years with hosting guru, Marki Costello; television host, Leo Quinones; hosting coach, Patricia Stark; red carpet expert Diana Madison; and radio consultant, Mike O’Malley.
Heather has always enjoyed her work, even before her career choice became "work." Her mother has tapes (yes, VHS) of her reporting "live" weather from the bedroom, traffic from the backyard, and news from the living room. Her pets even played along as stand-in celebrities.
Whether on the red carpet, on the radio, on camera, writing or directing an event, Heather Gardner sets the standard for excellence and is ready to take the entertainment world by storm. From now on, though, only real celebrities are invited. No pet stand-ins!
